Do you really wanna know anything about me??  o.k  here you go.......

 NAME :Scooter CHOI

If you are  wondering about my nick name, My american friend thought the way

I walk  reminded him of a Scooter.
 I was born on 12 December1974 JangSeong,Jeonla Namdo,Republic of Korea.
My home town is rather small and in the countryside about 25kms
from Gwang-Ju in the southwestern part of Korea.
After graduating from High School, I worked for Samsung Electronics for about two years
as an after service provider.  I spent almost three years working in a plastics factory.
This made me realize  I had to start thinking about a more rewarding career.
I tried a few other jobs: computer engineer, cook in a chinese restaurant and three
more different jobs. in 1999 I finally found my calling as a MAKE UP ARTIST.
I had met several other artists in Seoul and it sounded like a very interesting and
possibly enjoyable line of work.  I decided to try it
I attended the  MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY in Seoul and went right to work for
the same company, MAKE UP FOR EVER.  I really learned a lot working there, and got the chance
to teach makeup classes at Hoseo University.
I also did some work for some Korean fashion magazines and I was even a photo model
for a Japanese magazine! After two years, I decided I wanted to broaden my horizons.
I moved to  Paris in 2002, attended french language school, and then
enrolled in the Make Up Forever School. While I was attending school, I had a chance to work
quite a bit as a free lancer, including the 2003 Lingerie Show, the Lee Young-Hee show,
and the L'Oreal Hair Show, etc.Which were really good experiences.

Just before I left Europe, I decided to compete in the World Bodypainting Festival
in Seeboden, Austria in July, 2003. I had only worked as a bodypainter a couple of times before that
and thought I would do very poorly. Much to my amazement, I finished 11th out of 48
in the brush and sponge category!  There were over 200 artists from all over the world there.
I met many nice people and made a few friends as well.  I hope to return for
       the 2004 festival. http://www.bodypainting-festival.com

On September 19, 2003, I moved to the USA.  I have been living in Alexandria, VA, just outside
Washington, DC, and attending English school in DC.  I  also worked with several local theater
groups  doing makeup design and makeup for productions of Shenandoah, Tartuffe,
       The  Miracle Worker, etc.
I also returned to the World Body Painting Festival in Austria in July 2004.  I really enjoyed it
and ninth overall in sponge and brush.  There were over 70 teams entered in that category.
I 've also been working as a free lance photographer whenever I can.
